This is actually something of an old pic now, but suddenly once again relevant >XD! Thank you all for letting us hit 150K for Squigly, and even passing the Story Mode stretch goal. There’s more to come, though! We have further goals for Big Band and additional characters, if you’d like to see them in the game. Thanks already though for the amount that has been contributed so far though. It’s really mind blowing how fast we reached out goal. Really inspiring to ;A; You guys are too great ;w;
Anyway, my friend Daniel Campsi had sent me a text yesterday, congratulating us on passing our goal. Part of why I’m posting this pic up now. He got me hooked up to have Skullgirls and a bunch of my other art featured in an issue of Girls of Gaming way back in 2009. It’s the issue with Cammy on the cover (or Faith from Mirror’s Edge was the alternate cover I think). Interesting bit of SG history there, in that it has an article about Skullgirls, even though it wasn’t out as a game yet. This was when Mike and I were still just working on it during our spare time and I was still in the Bay Area. We’re referred to as Less Than Three <3 in the magazine, haha. Pre-Reverge, even. But yeah, enough random nostalgia- this image is relevant again, because Squigly and Cerebella can now fight each other in this stage haha! Woo!!!! (fun note x2, as you can see, streets of New Meridian is flipped here >XD and rain owo)
Check out the IGG webisite to donate~ Thanks again for Squigly, if you haven’t donated or spread the word, that’d be great- we still got Big Band and more left to go~

Congrats Alex! I still love this picture. Trying to remember if this was one of the ones they did in 3D. - DC
